Stories may be published anonymously. Submission requirements may still require contact information for verification.

When call recording or conversation retention is enabled, we may retain call recordings or transcripts. We provide notice before collecting this information. Please do not provide passwords, payment-card details, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

Information collected automatically:

• Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and device information
• Website activity used for security, performance, and analytics
• Messaging records, including delivery status and HELP or STOP requests

2. How Information Is Used

We use information to:

• Review, curate, and publish submitted stories
• Respond to inquiries
• Provide receptionist assistance
• Send a specific link or human contact number you request and approve
• Record messaging permission and honor opt-out requests

3. Story Submissions and Publication

• Submitting a story does not guarantee publication.
• Stories may be edited for clarity, length, or tone.
• Public attribution is determined with the storyteller.
• Stories are presented as personal narratives, not verified statements of fact.

If we do not have your contact information, we may be unable to respond or seek additional consent.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies and analytics tools to understand website usage and improve performance. These tools may collect identifiers such as IP addresses and browser or device information.

5. Service Providers

We use service providers for functions such as website hosting, analytics, form processing, AI receptionist conversations, and telephone or text-message delivery.

Our AI receptionist uses ElevenLabs. Conversations are processed by ElevenLabs, its affiliates, and its service providers, including the language-model provider used for the conversation. We use Twilio for telephone and SMS connectivity; telecommunications carriers also process information needed to deliver communications.

These providers may process information necessary to operate, secure, and support their services, subject to applicable agreements and privacy terms. Information disclosed for service delivery is not permission to use your SMS consent for third-party marketing.

6. Requested Text Messages and SMS Privacy

Our requested-text service sends a specific information link or human contact number after you expressly agree during your conversation and confirm the destination mobile number.

One request, one informational text: Your permission applies to that specific request. It does not enroll you in a mailing list, recurring messaging program, or promotional campaign. Each additional requested text requires separate approval. HELP and STOP requests may generate an automated response.

We use your mobile number, consent information, requested content, and delivery records to fulfill your request, provide assistance, and honor your choices.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We may disclose necessary information to messaging providers and carriers to deliver requested texts, process HELP or STOP requests, and maintain service security. We may also disclose information when required by law.

• Contact information and communications are retained as needed to fulfill requests, support our services, and meet applicable obligations.
• Consent and opt-out records may be retained to document permission and prevent unwanted messages.
• Recordings and transcripts, when retained, are subject to our service settings and applicable provider retention arrangements.

We take reasonable measures to protect information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.

8. Your Choices

You may:

• Request anonymous publication of your story
• Request removal of published content
• Decline a requested text
• Reply STOP to stop text messages
• Contact us about accessing, correcting, or deleting your information

We review requests in good faith and subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed toward children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
